Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus, Bangkok

Located on Malai Man Road, Kasetsart University’s Kamphaeng Saen Campus features a botanical garden and various projects aimed at educating farmers and interested individuals. Notable highlights include the agricultural technology simulation project on irrigation systems based on King Rama IX’s royal initiatives and the Environmental Entomology Research and Development Center. Managed by the Department of Entomology, the centre researches insects and their ecosystems.  The park is divided into four sections:  Sections 1 and 2, feature exhibitions and museums in single-storey buildings showcasing stuffed and rare insects.  Section 3, is a 15-metre dome-shaped building with over 1,000 square metres displaying insect ecology, behaviour, and endangered species. Section 4, offers additional insect education and displays of animals such as spotted deer, goats, poultry show breed, egg-laying chicken breed, rabbits, miniature pigs, and quail.  Additionally, at the end of the winter season, the university grounds are adorned with blooming pink Chomphu Panthip (from mid-March to early April), attracting visitors to admire their beauty.
