Tham Lot, Phang Nga

Located in the Phang-Nga National Park, this island features a natural passage which leads into a cave containing stalagmite and stalactite formations caused by years of natural erosion. Entrance to the cave is possible by canoe, kayak or other small boat, but it should be noted that the tide and water levels are very important and should be consulted before entering. Getting there: Tourists can purchase a one-day package tour from tourist agencies in Phuket or Phang-Nga, including those located at Phang-Nga town pier, Surakul Pier and Hin Rom Pier in Takua Thung. Once the boat reaches the mouth of the cave, tourists can then switch to a canoe and enter.
