Located in Hat La Subdistrict, this community had to relocate due to the construction of the Sirikit Dam. Predominantly agricultural, the residents primarily engage in the cultivation of cashew which has become the community’s main economic crop. Soil fertility formed around mountainous area is ideal for producing a large amount of crop. As a result, the cashew has small seed, firm flesh, and sweet taste. These characteristics give Tha Pla District’s cashew its uniqueness. Tourists will enjoy the demonstration of cashew harvesting in the orchard and see their production process from beginning to end. Open daily 08.00-18.00 hrs. For further details contact, Tel. (66)8 9960 1388
