Residence Kampot is a former residence for the French governors as well as the provincial governors. It is located on Lak Mueang Road, Tambon Nai Mueang. The Residence is a 3-storey semi-wooden house, topped with a hip roof. Nowadays, this place is used as a probation office for the Department of Corrections, despite the conversion, the old architecture has been preserved. The Residence is open on Monday-Friday from 09.00-16.30 Hrs. To get there: From Mueang Trat Municipal Market, heading towards Lak Mueang Intersection, turn left.
