This long, beautiful beach has fine white sand that slopes gradually into the sea, making it suitable for safe and easy swimming. There are plenty of rocks in the southern end of the beach, which adjoins the foot of a hill. Hat Thung Wua Laen is in Mu 8, Tambon Sa Pli in Amphoe Pathiu, approximately 16 kilometres from Chumphon city center. To reach the beach take the Chumphon-Hat Thung Wua Laen road, pass the Chumphon Government Service Office at Sam Kaew Mountain paralleling with the railroad tracks, then turn to Highway No. 3180 and continue on to the beach.

This beach offers a stretch of coastline for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxation. Water conditions vary by season — calmer seas typically from November to April, with rougher surf during monsoon months (May-October). Beach vendors and nearby restaurants provide food and drinks.
