Varadis Palce is an Art Nouveau architecture, designed by German architect Karl Dohring. It used to be the residence of Prince Damrong Rajanubhab, the Father of Thai History who has also been included in UNESCO list of the world’s most distinguished persons, but it is now Varadis Palace Museum, where rooms and personal belongings of Prince Damrong Rajanubhab are exhibited, and Damrong Rajanubhab Library, a home to 7,000 Thai and English books waiting to be read by visitors.
