Follow the beach road, a bit beyond Ban Kon Ao, to reach the seaside hill. From this sunset viewpoint, comprising scrub forest and cape, it is possible to see Mae Ramphueng Beach and Ko Samet. The 680 rai area is headquarters of the Khao Laem Ya-Mu Ko Samet National Park. Admission fees for adults and Children are 200 and 100 baht, respectively. Khao Laem Ya provides accommodation of 3 houses at a rate of 1,500-3,900 baht/night. Rental tents with a maximum stay of 2-8 people are available at 150 and 600 baht/person/night. Pitching a private tent requires paying a fee of 50 baht/person/night.
