Key Attractions: New Building of Krom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak Shrine: Atop a northern hill, this shrine encases a splendid statue of the Admiral, inviting public homage and prayers. It offers a panoramic view of Sai Ri Beach and the bay, seated on a replica of a royal frigate. Old Building of Krom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak Shrine: Located just below the new shrine, this building is historically significant for its proximity to HTMS Chumphon and marks the place where the Admiral passed away. Reverend Luang Pu Suk’s Mondop: This site houses a venerated statue of Luang Pu Suk, a respected monk closely associated with Krom Luang Chumphon. HTMS Chumphon: A retired torpedo boat measuring 68 metres in length and 6.55 metres in width, decommissioned on 26 November 1975. In 1979, the Royal Thai Navy presented this vessel to be placed at Hat Sai Ri as a memorial in honour of Krom Luang Chumphon’s legacy. Mo Phon Herb Garden: Positioned on the hill near the entrance, this garden is a Ministry of Public Health initiative, preserving valuable herbs and continuing the spirit of Krom Luang Chumphon, also known as “Mo Phon” or “Doctor Phon”, among the villagers.
