This viewpoint is located on the border between Mae Wa Luang and Tha Song Yang Subdistricts. The name ” Mon Khlui ” comes from the Pakayor language “Khlui Khlo” meaning “a naturally occurring mountain covered with grasslands.” Its geographical features include grasslands atop the mountain, interspersed with dwarf forests. Due to its open terrain and an elevation of 1,100 metres above sea level, Mon Khlui offers stunning views of the sea of mist, sunrise, and sunset, as well as, the beautiful landscape of the surrounding mountains, including a view of Doi Mon Thu Le. Visitors can camp on the mountain; however, due to the steepness of the path, it is recommended to use a four-wheel-drive vehicle.
