Rattanakosin 200th Anniversary Bridge, Kanchanaburi

It was constructed in 1982 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Rattanakosin Kingdom (Bangkok). It is a suspension bridge with wire cables and a wooden deck, spanning the Ping River between the Tak Municipality and Pa Mamuang Subdistrict. The bridge facilitates transportation, enhancing the connectivity between the two areas. However, it is currently not permitted for vehicle traffic. The area around the suspension bridge also serves as a launching point for krathongs during the traditional Loi Krathong festival, featuring the release of thousands of floating lanterns.
