The bridge spans the Moei River between Tak’s Mae Sot District and Myawaddy, Republic of the Union of Myanmar. It is 420 metres long and 13 metres wide. Thai tourists and residents of Mae Sot District can cross by foot or car, obtaining a temporary border pass at the Mae Sot immigration checkpoint, with fees applicable on both the Thai and Myanmar sides, as well as, mandatory car insurance.
