The temple is located in Mae Ramat Subdistrict, just behind the Mae Ramat District Office. It houses a beautifully carved marble Buddha image, which was brought from Yangon, Republic of the Union of Myanmar. This statue is noted for its exquisite craftsmanship, with a lap width of 50 inches and a height of 63 inches. It is one of three statues carved simultaneously as a representation of Myanmar’s sculptural art. The first statue is enshrined in Pakistan, the second in India, and the third, this particular statue, is enshrined at Wat Don Kaeo.
