Wat Mani Phraison, Kanchanaburi

Located on Inthakhiri Road in the Mae Sot market area. This ancient temple, established in 1785, features several attractions, including the Chedi Wihan Samphutthe (built in 1986), containing 512,028 Buddha images and surrounded by 233 tiny stupas on its outer surface. The temple’s 200-year-old Ubosot (ordination hall) boasts gable and roof decorated with beautiful wood carvings.  The prominent buddha image is Phra Phuttha Kodom Borom Si Mueang Chot in the attitude of meditation. There are also pavilions and niches containing Buddha images in various attitudes.
