Although this is not an ancient temple, Wat Phra That Suthon Mongkon Khiri features beautiful architectures that are inspired by the ancient, traditional structures such as the Ubosot (ordination hall) which was well admired for its delicate sculptures and a Lanna-style, golden-teak building that enshrines relics of Lord Buddha and exhibits Buddha statues, Lanna musical instruments and ancient weapons. Getting there: The temple is located 3 kilometers from Den Chai district or 2 kilometers from provincial town.
