The inner area of the cape faces the mainland and is home to many communities such as Ban Dato, Ban Talo Samilae, and Ban Budi; settlements where most of the population makes a living from fishing. There is also aquaculture including snapper, cockles, mussels, etc. on the outside of the cape that faces the open sea. There is a large selection of private accommodation available.
