Bang Lang Dam, Satun

Located at Ban Bang Lang, Khuean Bang Lang subdistrict. It was the first multipurpose hydroelectric project in the South to be built to block the Pattani River. It is a stone dam with a clay core 85 metres high with a dam crest that is 422 metres long, and the Dam can store 1,420 million cubic metres of water. His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great attended the opening ceremony of Bang Lang Dam on 27 September 1981. The area above the Dam has a viewpoint, which overlooks the scenery of the Dam and the surrounding mountains that are beautiful.
