It was the home of Phraya Surasi Visitsak (Chao Khun Cheoi Kalyanamitra), who served as a high-ranking official in Monthon Payap during King Rama V’s reign and as the Minister of Interior during King Rama VI’s reign. The house contains important documents regarding the history of government administration before 1932 coup, personal medals, significant books, furniture, sculptures, household items, and vintage photographs, offering visitors insight into the life and times of this influential figure in Thai history.
