Situated in Thap Luang Subdistrict, the temple boasts a stunning wooden sanctuary known for its exquisite craftsmanship. Crafted from a variety of woods including roots of Hopea odorata Roxb., teak, makha, Burma paduak, roots of Fagraea fragrans Roxb., the sanctuary features intricate carvings depicting revered figures; such as, the Lord Buddha, Guan Yin, Sivali, Katyayana, Ganesha, Phra Phutthachinnarat, other notable monks, as well as, various wooden craft works like Golden Dragon, Silver Dragon, and the mythical bird “Hastilinga.” Additionally, visitors can embark on a journey up a 700-step limestone staircase to pay respects to the Buddha’s footprint atop the mountain and revel in the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
