Islamic Heritage Museum and Al-Quran Learning Centre, Satun

The oldest copy of the Quran of Samanmit Witthaya School is more than 1,000 years old from Egypt. In addition, there are also textbooks of medicine, astronomy, and other texts that are ancient. Originally, the villagers kept the Quran in their homes. They were not collected in the Museum; however, when the Fine Arts Department took care of it, they gathered important texts to repair and the Quran that was damaged and could not be repaired. As such, it would be sent to a skilled technician in Turkey for repairs. There are also other exhibition rooms, e.g., ancient documents, way of life, and a textbook of outstanding academic achievements in ancient times.
