The multi-tiered falls drop through dense forest canopy, creating natural pools perfect for cooling off after the moderate trek required to reach them. What sets this waterfall apart is its year-round flow and the relatively easy 30-minute hike through well-maintained trails.

Three distinct tiers make up the main cascade, each offering different perspectives and photo opportunities. The upper level provides the most dramatic views as water crashes over granite rocks into emerald pools below. Swimming is possible in several of the deeper basins, though the water remains refreshingly cool even on hot days. Dense tropical forest surrounds the falls, alive with bird calls and the rustle of small wildlife. The sound of rushing water grows louder as you approach, while the air becomes noticeably cooler and more humid near the base of the falls.

Tranquility defines the experience here, with most visitors finding peaceful spots to relax beside the pools or on smooth rocks worn by centuries of flowing water. The forest setting creates a natural amphitheater where conversation mingles with the constant rush of cascading water. Families often gather for picnics on flat rocks near the lower pools, while photographers capture the interplay of light filtering through the forest canopy onto the falling water.

Visit during or just after the rainy season (June to November) for the most impressive flow, though the falls maintain decent volume year-round. The trail begins from a small parking area accessible by car or motorbike from the main Phu Chi Fa road. Bring sturdy shoes with good grip for the sometimes slippery trail, swimming gear if desired, and drinking water. The moderate hike and refreshing pools make this an excellent complement to sunrise viewing at nearby Phu Chi Fa.
