Phi Phi Islands & Maya Bay: Premium Service & All-Day Food
Picture yourself cruising through turquoise waters at 9:30 AM, the limestone cliffs of Phi Phi towering around you like ancient sentinels. The real magic happens at Pi Leh Bay, where you’ll slip into crystal-clear water surrounded by towering karst walls – it’s like swimming inside a natural cathedral. Maya Bay delivers exactly what you’ve seen in photos, though you’ll share it with other boats (this is Thailand’s most famous beach, after all). But honestly, floating in Loh Samah Bay’s calm waters with snorkel gear on, watching tropical fish dart between coral formations, makes you forget all about the crowds. The Thai buffet lunch on Phi Phi Don hits different when you’re salt-crusted and sun-warmed, overlooking the Andaman Sea.
Your day starts early with pickup between 7:00-8:00 AM from anywhere on Phuket mainland (with the Elite option). The group size caps at 15 people, which keeps things intimate without feeling like a cattle drive. Your English-speaking guide handles the logistics while you focus on the scenery. After that welcome coffee at the marina, you’ll island-hop for 8.5 hours total – Pi Leh Bay for swimming, a quick photo stop at Maya Bay, lunch on Phi Phi Don, then Monkey Beach where you’ll spot actual monkeys along the shoreline. The pace feels relaxed rather than rushed, with about an hour for lunch and 30 minutes at each swimming spot. You’ll wrap up at Koh Khai Nok before heading back to Phuket by late afternoon.
This tour suits anyone who can swim and doesn’t mind boat transfers – it’s rated as easy difficulty and suitable for all fitness levels. The 4.3/5 rating from 40 reviews reflects what you’d expect: solid execution with some weather-dependent variables. Pack reef-safe sunscreen, a waterproof phone case, and extra cash for the 400 baht national park fees (not included). Book during dry season (November-April) for calmer seas, though the tour runs year-round. If you get seasick easily, consider medication – you’ll be on boats for several hours.
Insider Tip: Bring fins if you’re serious about snorkeling. They’re available to rent but not included, and they make a huge difference navigating currents around the limestone formations.
Safety Tip: Check your email the night before for exact pickup times, and contact the operator via WhatsApp to confirm – pickup schedules vary by hotel location.
