The highlight is reaching the spectacular canyon viewpoints where emerald water flows between vertical limestone walls hundreds of meters high. Wildlife spotting opportunities abound – watch for langurs swinging through the canopy, colorful kingfishers diving for fish, and if you’re lucky, wild elephants near the water’s edge at dawn. Several caves penetrate the cliff faces, though exploring them requires headlamps and sturdy footwear as paths can be slippery.
