Khao Lak Bayfront Resort is a three-star beachfront property in Kukkak, Takua Pa, on a secluded stretch of sand rather than Khao Lak’s walkable main strip — the town centre is roughly 3 km away. Agoda still lists it under its older name, Khaolak Bay Front Hotel; both point at the same resort.

Seventy-four rooms and bungalows spread across five categories. Beach Front and Deluxe Sea View Bungalows measure 45.2 square metres, Deluxe Rooms 38.2 square metres, Superior Sea View 42 square metres, and the Superior Mountain View / Standard category 33.6 square metres. Check the view named in the category — not every bungalow faces the sea.

Two outdoor pools cover adult and shallower children’s depths. Add Orchid Spa, Mujarin restaurant, a pool bar, a library and internet room, Wi-Fi, parking and a tour desk, and there’s plenty to do without leaving the grounds. The beach is right outside the door, though swimming conditions still shift with season, tide and weather.

Insider Tip: Save the operator name — Khao Lak Bayfront Resort — and the map pin rather than the older hotel name when booking transport; some listings still use the old wording even though they point at the same coordinates.

The tour desk can help arrange local trips, but confirm the pier, transfer and season for any Similan Islands boat before you book — departures don’t leave from right outside the resort. Independent restaurants and shops also need a drive or an arranged transfer rather than a short walk.
