Thailand Airport Services

Skip the immigration queue, get a driver waiting at arrivals, or wait out a layover in a lounge — pre-booked for a fixed price, most with free cancellation.

The hour after you land sets the tone for a trip. These are the services worth pre-booking at the four airports most visitors use — fast-track immigration where queues are worst, fixed-price private transfers, lounge access for long layovers, and the Bangkok Airport Rail Link ticket. Prices are per booking and shown in USD; you pay the operator the same price whether or not you book through us.

Bangkok — Suvarnabhumi (BKK)

Bangkok's main international gateway. Immigration backs up at the morning and evening peaks, so fast-track and pre-booked transfers save the most time here.

Bangkok — Don Mueang (DMK)

Bangkok's budget-airline airport (AirAsia, Nok, Lion Air). Many flights land late at night when the taxi queue is long — a fixed-price transfer is the easy fix.

Airport transfers

Phuket (HKT)

Thailand's busiest island airport, with the country's longest high-season immigration queues and an unreliable Grab supply. Fast-track and private transfers matter most here.

Airport transfers

Chiang Mai (CNX)

The North's main airport — smaller and quicker than Bangkok or Phuket, but international arrivals still bunch up when flights from China and Korea land together.

Fast-track immigration

Krabi (KBV)

Gateway to Ao Nang, Railay and the Andaman islands.

Koh Samui (USM)

Samui's boutique island airport.

Thailand airport services — common questions

Which Thai airports have the longest immigration queues?

Phuket (HKT) consistently has the longest — 60 to 90 minutes in high season — and Suvarnabhumi (BKK) backs up at the morning and evening arrival peaks. Fast-track is most worth booking at these two. Chiang Mai and Don Mueang are usually quicker.

Is it cheaper to pre-book an airport transfer or take a taxi?

For a solo daytime arrival into the city, a metered taxi or Grab is usually cheaper. A pre-booked private transfer earns its premium for late-night arrivals, groups with luggage, and Phuket — where Grab is unreliable — because the price is fixed and a driver is waiting at arrivals.

How do I get from Suvarnabhumi to central Bangkok cheaply?

The Airport Rail Link City Line is the fastest and cheapest route — 45 THB and about 30 minutes to Phaya Thai, connecting to the BTS Skytrain and MRT subway. Pre-booking the ticket lets you skip the machine queue at the station.

Do I need to book these services in advance?

Fast-track, lounges and transfers should be booked at least a day ahead so the operator can assign staff and a vehicle; most include free cancellation. Airport Rail Link tickets can be bought on the day, but pre-booking skips the queue.

Are Bangkok airport lounges worth it without a business-class ticket?

Yes for layovers of four hours or more. A single pre-booked pass is usually cheaper than the Priority Pass walk-up guest fee and far cheaper than buying the same food and drinks in the terminal.
