Ace of Hua Hin Resort sits directly on the beach at 1392 Petchkasem Road — but in Cha-Am, not Hua Hin. The “Hua Hin” name is branding; the address is Phetchaburi’s Cha-Am district, and central Hua Hin’s railway station, night markets and Cicada Market are a taxi ride away, not a walk. Come for the beach and the grounds, and sort transport if Hua Hin town is on the itinerary.
Rooms start at 45 square metres with the Ace Superior and Ace Deluxe categories. Pool-access versions put water right outside the terrace, and suites climb from 60 square metres up to a 156-square-metre one-bedroom Seaview Suite with its own pool. Standard rooms have a fridge and kettle rather than a kitchen, so the two restaurants are your main dining option.
The resort runs a beachfront infinity pool, fitness centre, kids’ club, two restaurants, a bar and room service, with free Wi-Fi and parking. There’s no spa currently listed here — if a treatment is part of the plan, check availability before booking rather than assuming one’s on site.
Insider Tip: Sort your transport before you arrive if a Hua Hin day trip is part of the plan. This is a self-contained Cha-Am beach base, not walking distance from the town everyone pictures when they hear the name.
Agoda rates the resort 8.9/10 and Booking.com 8.8/10. That split sums up the trade-off: a genuine beachfront stay with real resort scale, at the cost of needing a car or taxi for anything beyond the grounds.
