Two-Bedroom Panorama Villa

Two queen beds Sleeps 6 178 m²

Baan Kantiang See is eight two-bedroom villas stacked up a hillside above Ba Kantiang Bay on southern Koh Lanta. Villas are named for their colours — Yellow, White, Green and the rest — but the layout is identical throughout: two queen bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a full kitchen and a wraparound terrace.

Each villa runs to about 178 square metres, with a 78-square-metre terrace doing double duty as dining room and sun deck. The kitchen is the real thing — gas hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, and enough pots and pans to cook a proper dinner rather than reheat noodles. Six guests plus an infant fit per villa, with four adults as the practical maximum.

A shared saltwater infinity pool runs along the hillside with the bay stretching out below — get there early and you’ll likely have it to yourself. Daily housekeeping, food delivery and Wi-Fi cover the basics, and reception can line up transfers, tours, scooter rental, an in-villa massage or a private chef with a bit of notice.

Insider Tip: Factor the uphill walk back into your day. Kantiang Bay’s beach and restaurants are about 500 metres away — a ten-minute walk down, more like fifteen coming back up in the heat.

This is a hillside retreat, not a beachfront resort — Long Beach and Klong Dao are well to the north, so you’ll want your own transport to explore beyond Kantiang. Check-in runs 15:00 to 19:00 with checkout by 11:00; call ahead if you’re arriving later, since reception isn’t staffed round the clock.

Two couples travelling together, or a family who’d rather have space and a view than a flat path to the sand, will get the most out of Baan Kantiang See.

Pros

  • Ten-minute walk down to Kantiang Bay, steeper coming back
  • Reception hours end at 19:00
