Cape Dara Resort puts you directly on Dara Beach in Naklua, a taxi ride north of the Walking Street scene in central Pattaya. Every current room category is built around a sea view, and the grounds run straight onto the sand. Central Festival is about a ten-minute drive and Walking Street around fifteen, traffic depending — this is a resort stay, not a stroll-into-town base.
Room Categories
The lineup starts with Deluxe, Deluxe Corner and Deluxe Terrace rooms, then moves through Dara rooms, suites and private-pool options. Family capacity swings a lot by category: the 91-square-metre Junior Family Suite sleeps three, while the Family, Duplex, Duplex Terrace and Top Star Duplex suites all sleep four. At the top end, the 855-square-metre Top Star Private Pool Residence has five bedrooms and room for ten.
Standard rooms and suites get a compact fridge and a kettle, not a kitchen — only the Top Star residence has the real thing, with a full kitchen and dining room built in. Beyond the rooms, the resort runs two pools, Luminous Spa, a fitness centre, a children’s playroom, the Radius and Ming Xing restaurants, bars, a cafe and 24-hour room service. Dara Club perks come with specific suite categories rather than every booking, so check what your room includes before assuming.
Insider Tip: Compare occupancy and club access carefully. Two similar-sounding categories — a Dara Suite and a Duplex Suite, say — can differ in size, pool access and lounge inclusion.
Cape Dara suits anyone who wants beach, pool, spa and dining handled on-site, and families or groups will find real headroom in the larger suites. It’s a weaker fit if you’re planning to spend every evening on Walking Street and don’t want a taxi both ways.
