Best for: travellers who want the single best room-and-service experience in Bangkok and value the calm of the river over being on top of the shopping malls. Less good for: anyone whose priority is Sukhumvit nightlife or BTS-at-the-door convenience — this is a quieter, more residential stretch.
Insider Tip: book Côte well ahead — it sells out independently of the hotel — and request a river-facing table at sunset. For the rooms, the riverside pool villas are the signature splurge; even the entry-level Premier rooms have the full river view, so there is no bad choice on aspect.
