Eden Hotel Bangsaen is a small budget hotel on Bangsaen Sai 1 Road, a two-three minute walk from Bang Saen Beach. It traded as Malarer Boutique Hostel until a rebrand, and some booking sites still surface the old Malarer listing — it points at the same rooms.
Six room types run from private to shared: a queen room with a private bathroom, a family room with a double and bunk beds, a Superior Suite, a bed in a six-person mixed dorm, a three-bedroom villa for up to eight, and a garden-view room with two doubles for four. Agoda shows a smaller, four-room version of the same property, so don’t expect every category to appear on both sites.
A shared guest kitchen, garden, lounge and BBQ area cover the communal side, plus free Wi-Fi, parking, luggage storage, laundry and housekeeping, evening entertainment and breakfast on selected rates. There’s no pool or gym — this is a budget-to-mid hostel-hotel hybrid, not a resort.
Insider Tip: Check-in runs 14:00-16:00. If you’re landing later, message the hotel ahead — they ask for arrival details in advance for exactly this reason.
Bang Saen Beach is roughly 200-300 metres away, a three- to four-minute walk, and Khao Sam Muk headland is about 1.5 km up the coast road. That’s close enough to walk down for sunset and back for dinner in the shared kitchen. The mix works for pairs, groups and dorm travellers who want beach access and communal space rather than a private kitchen or pool.
