Canal Village Laguna Phuket

Canal Village is the boutique shopping and services hub at the heart of Laguna Phuket, on northern Bang Tao. Laguna materials date the centre to 1994 and the January 2024 fact sheet lists 52 leased outlets. It sits on the lagoon system, so hotel guests typically arrive by complimentary shuttle bus or lagoon ferry rather than needing a taxi for every errand.

Expect a mix of practical services and casual dining. Commonly listed amenities include a BDMS clinic, minimart, currency exchange, ATM, pharmacy, laundry, tour desks, EV charging and Blessed Gym, plus cafés and restaurants. Dining names on Laguna’s Canal Village page include Pizza on Fire, Albatross Cafe, GLÜCK, S Cafe and Hong Yun Chinese Restaurant.

Do not confuse Canal Village with Boat Avenue, the adjacent strip many visitors use for dinner and Fun Friday Night Market — that sits next to Laguna, not inside this centre. For golf after shopping, Laguna Golf Phuket is elsewhere on the same estate.
