Dino Park Mini Golf

Eighteen mini golf holes wind past life-sized dinosaur models on the road between Kata and Karon beaches in Phuket. A combined mini-golf-and-park ticket costs 790 THB for adults and 690 THB for children; if you’d rather skip the putting and just walk the grounds, a park-only ticket is 590/490 THB. It’s open daily from 10:00, closing at 23:00 October through May and 22:00 during June to September.

The course itself runs through mock caves, over small footbridges, and around fibreglass T-Rex and Brontosaurus figures, with each hole set up as a small obstacle around the dinosaur theming rather than a serious test of golfing skill. Putters and balls are provided at the entrance, so there’s nothing to bring beyond comfortable shoes. In the evening the sculptures are lit up in colour, which is when the course photographs best and when local families tend to show up in numbers.

Insider Tip: Play in the last hour or two before closing. The heat drops, the lighting comes on, and the course is noticeably quieter than during the afternoon cruise-ship and tour-bus rush.

An open-air restaurant sits alongside the course, decorated with replica dinosaur fossils on the walls and serving a mix of Thai dishes, grilled steaks, pizza, burgers, and a handful of Mexican options — dishes carry dinosaur-themed names, and it runs the same hours as the park, 10:00 to 22:00 or 23:00 depending on the season. You don’t need a golf ticket to eat here; the park-only admission covers a look around plus a meal without playing a round.

Dino Park sits on Patak Soi 7, easily reached by taxi, tuk-tuk, or rental scooter from either Kata or Karon — it’s a short detour if you’re already staying between the two beaches, covered by the Kata and Karon beaches hub. Combine it with the sunset views a few minutes up the road at Kata Karon Viewpoint for an easy half-day loop.

Watch out: This is a paid attraction on both tickets, not a free park — there’s no walk-through-for-free option, and the park-tour-only ticket still costs 590/490 THB even without playing a hole.
