I.P.M. Pomelo Group

I.P.M. Pomelo Group is a working pomelo-growing area of more than 100 rai (about 16 hectares) in Sarika subdistrict, Nakhon Nayok, farmed by a local growers’ collective. The “IPM” in the name stands for Integrated Pest Management — the group uses biofermented fertilizer and herb-based pest control rather than heavy chemical spraying, one of several sustainable pomelo operations in a province known for the fruit.
This is a working farm, not a manicured agritourism park. There’s no documented visitor centre, ticket booth, or booked-tour system — it functions as a stop on the informal orchard route through Sarika, alongside other durian and fruit orchards along the same road toward the district’s waterfalls. TAT’s listing gives free entry and daily hours of roughly 09:00-17:00, but treat that loosely: as an active farm rather than a staffed attraction, what you’ll actually see depends on the season and what work is happening in the groves that day.
The most worthwhile time to go is during Nakhon Nayok’s pomelo harvest, roughly August to October, when the trees are carrying fruit and there’s a realistic chance of buying fresh pomelo directly from growers. Outside harvest season, expect rows of trees and not much else — this isn’t a year-round activity in the way a waterfall or temple is.
Watch out: Don’t build a special trip around this alone. It’s a genuine working farm rather than a set-up tourist site, with no guarantee of staff on hand, produce for sale, or an English-speaking guide. It earns a stop only as part of a wider Sarika drive.
Insider Tip: Combine it with Namtok Sarika and Sarika Cave on the same road — the orchard route through Sarika is really a half-day loop, not a single-stop destination.
