Tambon Pak Nam Prasae, is a tourism-based community that became known for Thung Prong Thong and followed by the way of local life. The Municipality has placed importance on tourism and encouraged the community to be interested in tourism. The community provides no hotel but is renowned for homestay accommodation, which has been fully booked every weekend. There is an old market walking street lined with century-old shop house buildings. Activities here include the Thung Prong Thong nature trail/old market walking street/demonstration of Pluchea leaf tea/visiting the HTMS Prasae Memorial, cruising on board a fishing boat to the Prasae Estuary and seeing fireflies/paying respect to the Prince of Chumphon Shrine/biking to Prasae Bridge/overnight at a homestay.
