A private day tour linking two of central Thailand’s classic day trips — Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and the Ayutthaya Historical Park — into one 11- to 12-hour outing from Bangkok. It runs from $181, with the vehicle, English-speaking guide and every admission fee on the itinerary reserved for your group alone, up to 15 people. Choose a 7 AM or 8 AM pickup; only the earlier start fits in Maeklong Railway Market.
The 7 AM option starts at Maeklong, where vendors pull their stalls back from the tracks as a train rolls through at platform level — 30 minutes, then Thai desserts and fruit while you look around. From there it’s a 20- to 30-minute longtail boat ride along the canals before reaching Damnoen Saduak itself for about 90 minutes of photos, snacks and shopping. The drive on to Ayutthaya takes roughly 2.5 hours, with an optional lunch stop around 1:30 PM before the temples. Once there, the guide walks you through Wat Mahathat’s Buddha head cradled in tree roots, the royal chapel Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, and Wat Lokaya Sutharam’s reclining Buddha before the drive back to your hotel around 6 PM.
Hotel pickup and drop-off in central Bangkok are included, along with accident insurance, bottled water, fruit and Thai desserts along the way. The insurer needs each traveler’s full name as it appears on their passport at time of booking. Cancellation terms are strict — all sales are final, so lock in your start time and dates before paying.
Good if you want both Damnoen Saduak and Ayutthaya covered in one sitting without splitting the day across two separate bookings. It’s an 11-plus-hour day on the road, so skip it if you’d rather see one site properly than two at a faster clip.

Itinerary
Pick up from your hotel in Bangkok at 07:00 a.m. or 08:00 a.m. as your selected start time option. Transfer to visit Maeklong railway market (only for option start at 07:00 a.m.), the amazing market where you can view the train passing over the products that sell on the train track. Explore the market, walk on the railway and taste some Thai desserts and fruits. Important note : * Maeklong railway market visit is only for option start at 07:00 a.m. * If traveler selected option start at 08:00 a.m. we will not be able to visit Maeklong railway market.
Visit Damnoensaduak Floating market, the first floating market in Thailand by private a/c vehicle. Before visit the floating market, enjoy your private canal tour around 20-30 minutes. Enjoy sightseeing, view and observe Thai people house in the countryside, their fruits and flower farms along the canal. The boat will bring us to the floating market where you can enjoy taking photos, tasting Thai desserts, food, drink as well as shopping.
After the Floating market. Drive about 2.5 hours from the Floating market to Ayutthaya, UNESCO World Heritage site in 1991. Have an optional lunch at the local restaurant in Ayutthaya which your tour guide can recommend you the place (Late lunch around 13:30 p.m.)
After optional lunch, visit Wat Mahathat (Temple of the great holy relics of the Lord Buddha) which located at the Centre of Ayutthaya Historical Park. The temple built since the late 14th century. The highlight of this temple is the head of Buddha image inside the tree root and the beautiful ruin architecture remains.
Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, the royal chapel and used to be the residence area of the Kings in Ayutthaya period from 1350 - 1767 A.D. This temple and the complex was a prototype of Grand Palace in Bangkok.
Wat Lokaya Sutharam, the temple which has the longest Reclining Buddha image in Ayutthaya. Then return to your hotel in Bangkok around 18:00 - 18:30 p.m.
