The Scenery Vintage Farm
เดอะ ซีนเนอรี่ วินเทจ ฟาร์ม
The Scenery Vintage Farm is a themed photo-and-activity venue in Suan Phueng, Ratchaburi, built around a flock of sheep and an English-countryside look — thatched cottages, wooden fences, a windmill or two — rather than any working demonstration of Thai farming. It sits in the hills near the Tenasserim mountain range that marks the Myanmar border, about 9 km from the Suan Phueng district office along the road toward Phu Pha Phueng Resort.
Entry runs on a tiered ticket system rather than a flat fee. The 150 THB “M” ticket gets you two game activities, sheep feeding, and the farm’s show; 200 THB (“L”) adds a third activity and a snack; 250 THB (“XL”) throws in feeding milk to the lambs and carrots to the farm’s miniature horses. Children 100cm tall or shorter get in free. Activities lean toward playful rather than educational: knocking sheep-shaped piñatas off a stand, balloon darts, and archery are the standard rotation, alongside vintage-costume photo sessions staged around old trucks and cottage facades.
Insider Tip: Go for the “L” ticket unless you’re travelling with young kids who’ll want the extra animal feeding in the XL tier — the M ticket’s two activities plus sheep feeding covers most of what makes the visit worthwhile, and the snack add-on in L is a better use of the extra 50 THB than most of the photo props.
Mountain views define the atmosphere here more than anything agricultural — the sheep fields roll out against the Tenasserim range, and the site doubles as a base for Mediterranean-style villas if you’d rather stay the night than do a day trip. Morning light before the midday sun gets harsh is the best window for the vintage-photo sets, and it’s also when the sheep are most active rather than dozing in the shade.
Watch out: This is Ratchaburi, not Kanchanaburi, even though the two provinces border each other and get bundled together in some trip itineraries — factor the right province into your driving directions, since the routes in aren’t the same.
The drive in from central Ratchaburi town takes over an hour on mountain roads, so it’s best paired with other Suan Phueng stops (hot springs, viewpoints) rather than treated as a standalone half-day trip. Comfortable shoes, a hat, and water are worth packing regardless of season.
