The Venezia

เดอะ เวเนเซีย

Phetchaburi Reviewed Jul 2026
Daily 10:00-20:00
Entry 50 THB entry (individual activities and rides charged separately)

The Venezia is a Venice-themed activity park in Cha-am district, Phetchaburi — not Hua Hin, though it sits on the road between the two towns, about 11km north of central Hua Hin. A 200-metre mock Grand Canal runs through the middle, with gondolas for hire, framed by Venetian-style facades, a bell tower, and a St Mark’s Square replica. Base entry is 50 THB; individual attractions (gondola rides around 250 THB, the 3D art gallery about 180 THB, smaller rides 50 THB each) are charged on top, with bundled packages available at the gate.

Retail has thinned considerably since the complex first opened — many of the original boutiques have closed over the years, and what remains functions more as a paid photo-op and activity park than a shopping centre. The canal, gondola rides, mini zoo, and 3D gallery are the actual draws now; go in expecting an Italian-themed amusement park with a shopping-centre layout, not a functioning mall.

Insider Tip: Skip the “shopping” framing entirely and treat it as a couple of hours of photo stops and rides — the canal and gondolas are the best-value part of the ticket price, and most of the standalone boutiques worth browsing have closed.

Watch out: The base 50 THB entry only covers walking the grounds. Gondola rides, the gallery, and most other attractions are separate paid add-ons, so a full visit with a few activities can run well past the entry price — check the package deals at the gate before paying for things individually.

The site is fully air-conditioned in its indoor sections, a welcome break from the coastal heat, and stays open into the evening when the canal lighting is at its best for photos.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is The Venezia in Hua Hin or Phetchaburi?
Neither exactly — it's in Cha-am district, Phetchaburi province, about 11km north of central Hua Hin. Older marketing material calls it "Venezia Hua Hin" because it sits on the road between the two towns, but the address and postcode are Phetchaburi's.
How much does it cost to get in?
Base entry is 50 THB. Individual attractions cost extra on top of that — a gondola or horse-carriage ride runs around 250 THB, the 3D art gallery about 180 THB, and smaller rides like the mini train or mini zoo 50 THB each. Bundled packages combining several activities are sold at the gate.
Are the shops still open?
Retail has thinned out substantially since the complex opened — it now functions mainly as a paid activity and photo-op park (canal, gondolas, gallery, mini zoo) rather than the shopping centre its name implies. Don't plan a visit around boutique shopping.
What can you actually do there?
The main draw is a 200-metre mock Grand Canal with gondola rides, plus a mini zoo, a 3D art gallery, an upside-down house, and a European-style garden built around a Trevi Fountain replica.
What are the opening hours?
Daily, 10:00-20:00.
