3-Hour Bangkok Walking Tour: Wat Pho and Wat Arun

The Experience: the tour spends about 90 minutes at Wat Pho, home to the 46-metre reclining Buddha and mosaic-covered shrines, before crossing the Chao Phraya by ferry to Wat Arun. Coconut water is handed out along the way, and the guide walks the whole route on foot rather than shuttling between stops by van.

Entrance fees for both temples aren’t included, so bring cash for tickets at each gate. Hotel pickup and drop-off aren’t part of the package either — you make your own way to Tha Tian Pier to start. The tour runs in Mandarin and English, and multiple start times are offered through the day, so last-minute bookings are workable.
