A longtail boat carries you down the Chao Phraya River — the historic “River of Kings” — past gilded temple spires and wooden stilt houses. The tour includes Wat Pho, home to the 46-metre Reclining Buddha, and the Grand Palace complex where Wat Phra Kaew houses the revered Emerald Buddha. From the main river, the boat turns into narrower khlongs (canals), passing through riverside Thai communities that still operate traditional floating vendors and small-scale orchid farms.

Meet your guide at the bottom of the escalators, Exit 1 (Museum Siam) inside Sanam Chai MRT station. If arriving by taxi, enter through Museum Siam and take two escalators down.
