  • Lunch or snack provided
  • Small group capped at 8 riders

Half Day E-Bike Nam Phrae Hilly Fully Paved Roads Guided is the hillier paved-road version of the Chiang Mai countryside ride. Pick it when you want more climbs and village roads rather than a flat rice-paddy loop.

On our electric fatbikes you feel less of the Thai heat and feel more comfort on the bumpy roads than with a normal bike. You can also cycle a longer distance with the same effort, and therefore see more.

We made a selection of routes all starting from our office in Nam Phrae, about 30 minutes south of Chiang Mai old city center. Free pickup from your hotel to our office and back is included. This is the ultimate chance to discover outer Chiang Mai on an eye-catching and comfortable fat-tire E-bike. Suitable for every age, as long as you are over 150 cm tall. For kids contact us first!

We had customers till over 80 years old, so don’t let yourself be put off by the bikes.

Our experienced English-speaking guides will make sure that your day is fun, safe, and worthwhile.

We will provide fat-tire electric bikes, you just have to bring comfortable clothes, sturdy shoes and a good mood.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this route harder than the flat ride?
Yes — this one is hilly on fully paved roads. The e-bike motor makes the climbs manageable, but it's a different option from the flat countryside route. Both run from the same Nam Phrae office.
What are the age or height requirements?
Riders must be over 150 cm tall. Customers over 80 have completed the tour, so don't let age put you off — just contact the operator first if booking for children.
What's included?
Use of e-bike, helmet and gloves, insurance, private transport between your Chiang Mai hotel and the Nam Phrae office, plus lunch (morning ride) or snacks (afternoon ride) and bottled water.
What should I bring for temple stops?
Bring a sarong to cover shoulders and knees for temple visits — it's not included. Also bring sun protection.
