Bangkok Private Tour Guide: Custom Full-Day Itinerary

This is an eight-hour private day in Bangkok where you decide the route. A licensed English-speaking guide goes with your party only, which suits repeat visitors, families or friends who would rather skip a fixed minivan itinerary. Private bookings are for up to 15 people.

How the day works

There is no set programme. The Grand Palace is the example the operator gives of what you can pick: you choose your own attractions and build a day that is feasible for you. The Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun and a floating market are the classic choices, but the guide can also take you into local neighbourhoods to see how residents live and to try local food.

You travel with the guide by public transport rather than in a private vehicle, and your guide shares the history and background of each site you visit. Talk through your interests with the guide and build the route together.

Good to know

The inclusions cover the licensed English-speaking guide, starting from your hotel and returning you there if you wish. The meeting point is listed only as Bangkok, so confirm the pickup arrangement with the operator when you book.

Not included are entrance fees to attractions, transport fares and food and drinks. When you travel or eat together with your guide, you cover the guide’s share of those costs as well as your own.
