Adang Sea Divers runs this two-dive day for certified divers from its centre on Sunrise Beach, Koh Lipe. It takes about five hours, and every dive is guided by a divemaster with no more than four divers in the group.
You meet your divemaster before each dive to check your gear and go through a briefing. The dive boat leaves from the beach in front of the dive centre and heads out to the sites. Lunch comes between the dives at Benny’s on the Beach, where the operator describes the surface-interval meal as vegetarian. The second dive is in Tarutao Marine Park (see Tarutao National Park for the wider area).
Meet at the Adang Sea Divers centre. The operator mentions no hotel pickup, so confirm how to reach the beach when you book. Scuba equipment, the dive guide and lunch are included. Entrance fees are not. The listed languages are English, Spanish and Thai.
Insider Tip: Bring your certification card with you. This is a trip for qualified divers, and a dive centre will want to see proof before it puts you in the water.
Watch out: The operator does not recommend this trip for travellers with spinal injuries, asthma, poor cardiovascular health or pregnancy, and it expects a moderate level of fitness. Also keep a gap of at least 24 hours between your last dive and any flight.
If you are not yet certified, the same centre teaches the Open Water Diver course. This trip suits certified divers who prefer a small guided group over a crowded boat, though the operator names no individual dive sites.

What happens
Get ready for an amazing underwater adventure that's both calming and exciting. Before each dive, you'll meet your experienced divemaster to make sure your gear is good to go and get a dive briefing. Our dive boat departs from the beach in front of our dive centre, you'll head out to the dive sites, where you'll see incredible underwater sights. After a tasty lunch at Bennys on the beach, we'll head out for another dive in Tarutao Marine Park. All the dives are guiding with a Divemaster and have groups of maximum 4 divers to 1 divemaster
