Private Phi Phi boat charters are a different proposition from the group speedboats — you set the itinerary, you skip the sites you don’t care about, and you time the stops around when the crowds thin out. This one runs 6 to 8 hours with 5 Star Marine, capped at 15 passengers on your own boat. The price reflects it: this is the tour you book when you’ve got a family, a group of friends, or a particular idea of what you want from a day at Phi Phi.

The day starts at the operator’s office with a briefing and check-in. From there it’s a 45-minute cruise to the Phi Phi Islands. The itinerary is flexible, but the set pieces are in easy reach: the blue lagoon at Phi Phi Leh (a favourite stop for snorkelling and swimming), Viking Cave for the story of birds’ nest harvesting (you can’t enter, but the history is interesting), Monkey Beach, Nui Beach (Camel Rock), and Koh Rang Yai for the sandbar and fruit stop. Maya Bay is on the circuit, and the private format lets you time it for when the national park boat limits have reset. Snorkelling gear, onboard restrooms, soft drinks, bottled water, and snacks are included.

Six to eight hours, easy difficulty, private group up to 15. Lunch isn’t in the price but can be arranged. National park fees (400 THB adult / 200 THB child) are paid on the day. The real value is the flexibility — you can ask the captain to linger at one spot and skip another, which is impossible on the group tours. Bring reef-safe sunscreen; oxybenzone is banned in the marine park.

Dry season (November to April) gives the clearest water. If the monkeys at Monkey Beach are the priority, go early — they leave the beach as it fills up.

Itinerary

Arrive at our offices, check in, receive a complete tour briefing. While receiving your briefing have a coffee, tea or cool drink. Store any luggage you do not require for the tour.

Once boarding our boat enjoy a 45 minute cruise out to Phi Phi Islands. The first step is at the world famous Maya Bay. Maya Bay was featured in the movie "The Beach" by Leonardo DiCaprio. This bay has one long stretch of white sandy beach and a few great crystal clear snorkelling spots. Grab a photo of yourself with Maya Bay before jumping in and exploring the marine life!

This blue lagoon has got to be our personal favorite location to visit at Phi Phi Ley. Cruise into the Lagoon across shallow corals and watch as the local marine life swim around our boat. Once in the Lagoon you are surrounded by cliff faces and can jump off the boat into a deep blue lagoon. Truly a stunning location to visit, swim, relax and soak up the ambiance.

Watch as the Monkeys play on the beach and in the trees. These are some of the friendliest and playful monkeys you will see as they often swim out and onto the boats.

Phi Phi Don is the main island of the Phi Phi Islands. We will stop here on a white sandy beach and allow you to explore the Main Island. While you are here pick a local restaurant for lunch and enjoy a great lunch while looking at the Crystal Clear Water.

Nui Beach is also known as Camel Rock. This is one of the best snorkelling locations in all of Phi Phi and has a wonderful white sandy beach as well. Great marine life and coral for you to explore!

Relax on the Sandy Beach of Koh Rang Yai while enjoying some fresh fruit and cool refreshments. Watch the sunset if you like and then take a short cruise back to the pier.
