Phi Phi One Day Tour by Speed Boat from Ao Nang, Krabi

Ao Nang to Phi Phi by speedboat runs long, 7 to 8 hours, and covers more ground than most one-day options: Pileh Bay, Viking Cave, two separate snorkelling stops (one off Phi Phi Leh, one off Phi Phi Don), Monkey Beach, and Bamboo Island inside the Hat Noppharat Thara–Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park, on top of Maya Bay itself.

Watch out: Maya Bay closes annually from August 1 to October 1 for government-led environmental rehabilitation. When the closure is in effect, the operator swaps in an alternative island for photos and snorkelling instead, worth confirming directly if Maya Bay is the main reason for booking.

Lunch is a halal buffet at Phi Phi Don with a vegetarian option, plus fruit, soft drinks, snacks and bottled water on board, an explicit halal call-out that’s rarer among Phi Phi day trips from Ao Nang, and useful given the tour also runs in Malay alongside Thai and English. The national park entrance fee (400 THB per adult, 200 THB for children aged 4 to 11) is charged separately on the day and isn’t folded into the listed price.

At Monkey Beach, the operator’s own brief warns that the resident monkeys are wild animals, not photo props, and asks travellers to keep their distance and skip feeding them. The two snorkelling stops each run 45 to 60 minutes but shift location on the day depending on conditions, so the exact reef isn’t fixed in advance.
