From Phi Phi: Half Day Discover Scuba (2 Dives)

Two dives, no certification required: this Discover Scuba half-day pairs each pair of first-time divers with one instructor. The centre running it, Blue View on Koh Phi Phi, holds PADI 5-Star Eco Dive Centre status.

Before the water, there’s a required PADI Discover Scuba eLearning module, completed online. Rather than publishing fixed age or health cut-offs, the dive centre runs its own medical check directly with each diver — booking isn’t confirmed until you email or Whatsapp Blue View, at least a day ahead, to arrange that check, your meeting point on the island, and the admin. The two dives cover Phi Phi’s reefs, where past divers have logged turtles, clownfish and large schools of snappers among the coral.

Lunch, water and fruit are included alongside the scuba gear and basic insurance; a photography add-on runs from 2,500 baht if you want the dive shot professionally. It’s worth confirming with the dive centre exactly what fees the quoted price covers — the listed inclusions and exclusions don’t fully agree on that point.

Watch out: You need a hotel booked on Phi Phi already for this trip, and the booking only becomes final once you’ve contacted Blue View directly — leaving that step until the last minute risks losing your slot.
