dusitD2 Khao Yai sits in the Mu Si valley near Pak Chong, a four-star base for exploring Khao Yai without staying inside the park gates. Step up to the 72 sqm D’Corner Suite for a separate living area, or the two-level 69 sqm Duplex Suite for more privacy. Families do well in the Two Bedrooms Deluxe or Family Deluxe, which pairs a king bed with a children’s bunk room — both run 72 sqm. The one- and two-bedroom villas each add a terrace and a heated plunge pool, though neither the resort nor the booking sites publish a floor size for them.

Musi Grill, Kuni Kuni and Jamii Coffee House cover the on-site dining, backed by a pool bar for something lighter. Kids get their own Play Nest, and the grounds host rock climbing, cycling, hiking and animal encounters with alpacas and other resident animals — check ahead, since some activities run to a schedule rather than being available all day.

Insider Tip: Bringing a pet? Only the ground-floor Deluxe rooms take cats or dogs, up to 15 kg, and the fee scales with weight — book that category directly rather than assuming any room works.
