Seaside Pool Villa
Nest Sense Resort is an 18-room, three-and-a-half-star property on Koh Chang’s southwest coast, at the southern end of Lonely Beach. Its own shoreline is rocky rather than sand, so the water here is better for a look than a swim — the sandy stretch of Lonely Beach is about 1.0-1.3 km away, a 15-20 minute walk.
The room count stays deliberately tiny: eight 30 sqm Deluxe Rooms share the infinity pool that looks straight out over the water, while five 50 sqm Sea View Pool Villas and five 50 sqm Seaside Pool Villas each get their own plunge pool. Every category sleeps two. None of the rooms has a kitchen, so plan on the restaurant, the bar or room service for meals — a paid airport shuttle can be arranged, but reaching Koh Chang at all still means the mainland road transfer plus the ferry crossing.
Insider Tip: Book a pool villa for privacy and your own water, not for beach access — if a sandy swim matters more than a private pool, weigh the walk to Lonely Beach before choosing a category.
Couples who don’t mind swimming in a pool rather than the sea get the most from this place: the restaurant and bar cover most meals, and Lonely Beach’s bars and restaurants are still walkable for an evening out. Check-in requires guests to be 18 or older and pets aren’t allowed, so confirm those terms against your rate before paying — families and self-caterers will do better elsewhere on the island.
