El Greco brings a touch of Mediterranean flair to Klong Prao Beach, one of Koh Chang’s most accessible stretches of sand. This 3-star resort sits in the island’s main tourist zone, putting you walking distance from restaurants, bars, and the long sandy beach that makes this area so popular with visitors.
What makes Noren Resort stand out is its Greek-inspired design in a sea of standard Thai beach accommodations. The property keeps things simple but functional, with reliable Wi-Fi throughout and car parking included – two basics that aren’t always guaranteed at this price point. For the nightly rate, you’re getting solid mid-range comfort without the premium resort pricing of some neighboring properties.
Insider Tip: Klong Prao Beach right outside is perfect for swimming and has a gentle slope into the water, making it ideal if you’re traveling with kids or prefer calmer seas over the party scene at other Koh Chang beaches.
This resort works well for travelers who want convenience and value over luxury. You get what you pay for, which is clean, comfortable accommodation in a prime location. It’s ideal for couples or families who plan to spend their days exploring the island rather than lounging by a resort pool. Just manage your expectations for a 3-star property – don’t expect extensive facilities or premium finishes.
- Prime Klong Prao Beach location with easy beach access
- Reliable Wi-Fi and included parking
- Good nightly value for the area
- Limited facilities compared to larger resorts
- 3-star property means basic amenities only
Noren Resort hits the sweet spot for Klong Prao pricing – not the cheapest option but reasonable for beachfront access. You’re perfectly positioned to explore Koh Chang’s attractions, with easy access to the island’s main road network for day trips to waterfalls, viewpoints, and other beaches around the island.
