The Peri Hotel Khao Yai (formerly Escape Khao Yai) is a 56-room hotel under The Standard’s Peri brand.

Eight room categories run from 26 sqm garden and mountain rooms up to a 260 sqm three-bedroom suite with its own plunge pool, built for six guests as standard and up to nine under some conditions. Three of the eight — the Studio Suite, One-Bedroom Suite and the separate Pet-Friendly Studio Suite — come with their own plunge pools; the rest don’t, so match the exact room name before you book. An outdoor pool, fitness centre, Chow Barn and Mountain Lodge restaurants, a bar, room service, Wi-Fi, parking, meeting space and laundry round out the property. Don’t expect an indoor pool, steam room or spa treatments here — they’re not part of the package.

Getting Around

The hotel sits on Pansuk-Kudkla Road in Phayayen. Khao Yai National Park’s entrance is about 25 minutes away by car, while GranMonte and Primo Piazza wineries are closer, around six minutes. Treat it as a road-trip base rather than a lodge at the park gate.

The Peri suits couples, families and groups after a pool, good food and roomy multi-bedroom suites. It’s a weaker fit if you want a full spa, guaranteed fast Wi-Fi, or pet access across every room category.
