The Splash Koh Chang

The Splash Koh Chang is an 85-room resort directly on Klong Prao Beach, built around a 700 sqm pool and water-park deck that’s free for staying guests — three adult slides, three kids’ slides, a children’s pool and a water-play area.

Rooms

Five room categories span 40 to 140 sqm. Superior and Deluxe rooms are 40 and 45 sqm with a king or twin beds; the 55 sqm Cottage adds a sofa and its own garden terrace. A 70 sqm Family Room and 140 sqm Family Suite each pair a king bed with a bunk bed for four. Some booking sites show higher capacities using extra beds — treat those as add-ons, not the base occupancy.

Round out the stay with a restaurant, beach bar, room service, breakfast, Wi-Fi, parking, and a garden and sun terrace; a paid airport shuttle can be arranged. There’s no lift, dedicated kids’ club or guest kitchen.

Insider Tip: Book the Cottage for its 55 sqm layout and private garden terrace — not because of any promised direct pool access or discounted upgrade, since neither is guaranteed.

Beach and Access

The beach is directly out front, though it’s tide-dependent — guests report the sand narrowing at high tide. Klong Plu Waterfall is about 3.8 km away, and most other island sights need a car or taxi. Getting here from Trat Airport means a road leg to the mainland ferry pier, the crossing itself, and a final road transfer on the island — budget time for the whole chain, not a straight-line distance.

The water park makes this a strong pick for families, though couples book it too for the beach and the novelty of the slides.
