Goya Tower
โกยา ทาวเวอร์
Goya Tower is a newly completed (2026) observation tower at the entrance to Matalay on Memories Beach in Khao Lak, Phang Nga. Thai architect Boonserm Premthada and Bangkok Project Studio shaped it as a cluster of cylindrical columns and curved climbable walkways built from handmade circular bricks — largely elephant dung, sun-cured rather than kiln-fired. The name references a female elephant born in the area and nods to Phang Nga’s wider elephant folklore (including Khao Chang near Phang Nga town).
Architecture press frames the structure as a public lookout you can walk through and ascend, with framed views opening toward garden, forest, and Andaman coast as you climb. It sits inside a large integrated resort-town project still ramping up along the Memories Beach / Khuk Khak strip, near the northern Khao Lak hotel zone.
Watch out: Fees, opening hours, and day-visitor rules are not confirmed on this page. The tower is brand-new; access can shift while Matalay opens phases. Confirm on site before planning a special trip. The map pin is approximate.
Insider Tip: Pair a verified open visit with a quiet stretch of Khao Lak beach time or a nature stop such as Ton Chong Fa Waterfall — do not schedule a tight airport transfer around an unconfirmed lookout slot.
